Lexington student named youngest Mungo Community Builder

Five-year-old Rabun W. Coppock doesn’t let her small stature keep her from accomplishing big things. By raising funds for children battling serious illnesses, Coppock received the Mungo Community Builder award on October 11.
In partnership with WIS-TV, Mungo Homes honors community leaders who have contributed to the region in a positive way.
Coppock, a New Providence Elementary School student, began raising money for Happy Wheels this fall using tooth fairy money. Instead of keeping the money for herself, she purchased toys and books for Happy Wheels, a nonprofit that distributes toys and books to hospitalized children.
Coppock raises money at a snow cone and popcorn stand in her neighborhood, and isn’t shy about asking fellow Clemson fans for a donation when she attends games with her parents.
So far, she’s raised approximately $12,000 to support Happy Wheels. As the youngest Mungo Community Builder to date, Coppock received a $1,000 donation from Mungo Homes for Happy Wheels.
