Liquid Catering toasts to five years

GREENVILLE, SC – On Thursday, February 18, Liquid Catering toasted to five years as the Upstate’s premier event bartending company.
Founded in 2011 by local hospitality entrepreneur Tammy Johnson, Liquid Catering was the first company of its kind in the Upstate. Throughout its five year history, the company has become a strong supporter of hospitality events across the Upstate, including Euphoria, for which Johnson sits on the board. Liquid Catering is a member of the Upstate Bridal Association and the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association, and has received the Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice Award for four consecutive years.
Thursday’s celebration was held at the Old Cigar Warehouse, a historic event venue on South Main Street that is a sister company to Liquid Catering. Tammy Johnson, founder of both companies, also owns Bravo1 Security, a private security company.
In addition to acting as a leader in the Upstate’s hospitality industry, Liquid Catering employees are also heavily involved in Greenville’s business and nonprofit community. The Liquid Catering staff boasts several chairs and past chairs of PULSE committees, the Greenville Chamber’s young professional organization.
“Many businesses don’t make it past one year, and it’s amazing to celebrate our fifth anniversary,” said Johnson, owner of Liquid Catering and The Old Cigar Warehouse. “We are thankful to be surrounded by wonderful business partners, and are looking forward to what the next five years bring.”
