Lisa Slayton Joins First Citizens as Vice President and Facilities Manager
July 29, 2008COLUMBIA, SC – July 29, 2008 – First Citizens is pleased to welcome Lisa Slayton to its team. Slayton will serve as vice president and facilities manager. In this role, she will be responsible for maintaining the corporate headquarters buildings and grounds as well as managing vendor contracts. With more than 15 years of facilities services management experience, Slayton brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this position.

Slayton holds a certificate in facility management from George Washington University and the International Facility Management Association’s designation of Certified Facility Manager (CFM). Prior to joining First Citizens, Slayton worked for CBRE Trammell Crow and held facility management positions for Florida Power & Light Company and Bank of America.
Slayton serves as a member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and previously served as the treasurer, vice president, and president of the capital chapter, as well as the mid-Atlantic regional foundation liaison. Under Slayton’s leadership, the networks committee was selected as committee of the year in 1994 and the capital chapter of IFMA awarded her organization company of the year in 1996.
