Liz Horton named CACCE Board President

The Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) announced their 2024 Board of Directors slate, naming Liz Horton, Greenville Chamber Chief Operating Officer, as President.

CACCE is the professional development organization for Chamber of Commerce executives and staff members in North Carolina and South Carolina. CACCE equips Chamber of Commerce professionals with leadership skills and tools to build innovative chambers.

“I am honored to be selected as the CACCE Board President for 2024,” said Horton. “I have had the pleasure of working in the Chamber industry for over 22 years now and look forward to working with fellow board members to advance CACCE initiatives, and the learning opportunities the association provides to Chamber professionals throughout North and South Carolina. I am deeply humbled to serve my industry peers in this capacity.”

With more than two decades of industry experience, Horton brings a wealth of knowledge to this role as she leads efforts to provide innovative solutions to chamber professionals across the Carolinas. In 2012, she graduated from the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management earning the prestigious IOM designation, and in 2014 she received the designation of Certified Chamber Executive of the Carolinas (CCEC).
