LMC Foundation Names New Board Member

West Columbia, SC – January 7, 2008 – The Lexington Medical Center Foundation has named two new members to its board of directors. Athena Leventis joins the 19 -member board and will serve a three-year term.
Leventis, senior vice president of U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, grew up in Lexington County and has lived in the Columbia area all her life. She graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Leventis has been in the banking business for almost 20 years, spending 14 years with Bank of America Premiere Bank and five years with Wachovia Wealth Management before recently joining U.S. Trust.
She is involved in the community through the Junior Achievement Board and the Committee of 100. In her free time, Leventis enjoys scuba diving and cycling.
