Local business, Grateful Brew, supports nonprofits with festive, holiday event on December 11th

December 9, 2021

Local coffee shop and craft beer taproom, Grateful Brew, will host “A Very Grateful Christmas” event on December 11th, 11:00am – 4:00pm at their location at 501 South Pleasantburg Drive in Greenville. The event will benefit two wonderful Greenville nonprofits, YouthBASE and Project Hope.

Grateful Brew is asking the community to join them in supporting these two nonprofits by bringing items to donate to the event on December 11th. Items include games, and toys for children ages 5-8 years old, and shelf-stable food items (see link below for full list). Those that bring needed items to donate will be able to have their photo taken with Santa Claus! The event will also feature festive, holiday drink selections as well as food options from the Project Host food truck.

Project Host and YouthBASE are both 501c3 nonprofits serving the Greenville community and families in need this holiday season. Project Host addresses the immediate issue of hunger through their multiple food programs, while also addressing the root causes of food insecurity – poverty. YouthBASE equips children in K5-2nd grades and their families to build the child’s behavioral, academic, social and emotional competencies so they may succeed at school, home, and in their community.

“As a business, we believe in giving back. We are excited to put on this event to support two great organizations and hopefully encourage others to give back during the holidays as well,” says George Linn, manager of Grateful Brew.
