Local Business Woman Awarded Harvard Business School Scholarship
May 9, 2014COLUMBIA, SC – May 9, 2014 – Senior Matters Extended Care Services, LLC and One Matters President, Mary Katherine Bagnal, was recently awarded a scholarship to attend The Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program at the 2014 Women President’s Organization (WPO) National Convention in New Orleans. Applicants were awarded the scholarship based on specific business criteria, interview presentation and questionnaire responses regarding their respective personal goals and proposed business mission/directive.
As one of five scholarship recipients, Ms. Bagnal will commence the three year program next May, where she will have the opportunity to hone her company’s long-term strategic skills, assess the company’s position in the marketplace and connect with fellow executives and members of the Harvard Business School network. Most importantly, she will become a lifelong member of the Harvard Business School alumni network-an elite group of industry leaders who span the globe.
The Harvard Business School participated in the 2014 Women President’s Organization National Convention, where 800 women presidents spent a week sharing business strategies and experience with other successful women from the United States and other international business markets. Mary Katherine Bagnal attended with fellow South Carolina chapter members.
