Local father and son authors to release more from new children’s book series

The COVID-19 Pandemic brought the world to a standstill in many ways. However, one family deemed it necessary to pivot by exploring entrepreneurial aspirations in a world of employment uncertainties. Torre A. Stocker has a proven track record of entrepreneurship as he leads multiple businesses. While the world continued to spread various strands of the virus, the Stocker household experienced an entrepreneurial outbreak. Tika, Torre’s wife, launched her custom jewelry making business. Angel, their oldest child, launched her designer line 
with a fashion show that featured some of her custom garments. Lastly, Torian spread his entrepreneurial wings as he co-authored his first book, “It’s Time To GO!” with his father. The first book assists children with identifying traffic signals and the meanings of each light. The underlying message of the book is to teach children to not allow anyone to stop or slow down their progress but GO! after their dreams.
From that small idea, a full series of books has been birthed with 12 books scheduled to be released over the next two years. “It’s Time To GO!” is a new children’s book series from this dynamic father and son duo built on the notion of education, legacy and generational wealth.
There is an old adage that says, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” Torre A. Stocker, a serial entrepreneur from Columbia, South Carolina is instilling education into his son, Torian A. Stocker that will create multiple streams of income for a lifetime.
Torre and Torian Stocker will be releasing It’s Time To GO! – On Vacation, It’s Time To GO! – To School and It’s Time To GO! – To Church during a celebratory event on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at EdVenture’s Canal Room. The It’s Time To GO! Series will be available through all participating online book distributors and at www.redpeneditsllc.com.
