Longshore to address workforce issues in Tennessee

John Longshore, a senior site selection consultant with Global Location Strategies in Greenville, S.C., will be a featured speaker at the Valley Workforce Institute on Thursday, March 15 in Nashville, Tenn. The annual event, organized by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), helps train local economic development teams on recruitment and retention of talent, and sales and leadership skills in order to close deals within TVA’s service region.

Longshore, who specializes in finding manufacturing sites for capital-, labor- and resource-intensive industries, will explain the site selection process and provide an in-depth look at workforce information that is necessary in order for site selectors to qualify locations and communities.
