April 8, 2015

GREENVILLE, SC – Bon Secours St. Francis Health System presented the Edward H. Stall Compassionate Care Award to Lorraine Dandeneau at the 40th Annual Employee Awards Banquet on April 7.

The award recognizes a St. Francis employee whose generosity empowers the mission of the Bon Secours St. Francis Health System. St. Francis Hospital is honored to have the care and support of benefactors such as the friends and family of Edward H. Stall, for whom this endowment is named.

The award was presented to Dandeneau at the Employee Awards Banquet by Sally Russell, Past Chair of the St. Francis Foundation. More than 500 employees from across the health system – physicians, nurses, clinical staff and support staff – were recognized at the 40th annual event for their years of service ranging from 5 to 40 years.

Dandeneau is the Team Leader at the St. Francis Gift Shop at St. Francis Eastside and was nominated by her coworkers for unwavering dedication to the lives of others. Coworkers say that she is known for giving the gift of wisdom and encouragement in a compassionate, loving way and for seizing the opportunity to serve and meet the emotional and spiritual needs of everyone she meets.
