Love is in the Air at Charleston International Airport
February 10, 2026
Charleston International Airport is celebrating Valentine’s Day by spreading a little extra love throughout the terminal with a series of special experiences designed to surprise and delight travelers.
Now on display in Central Hall is a custom Valentine’s-themed mural created by beloved local artist duo Girls Who Paint Murals. The vibrant installation offers a cheerful welcome and a perfect photo moment for passengers and guests and will remain on view through Valentine’s Day.
For travelers on the go, CHS will also host a pop-up floral shop featuring Charleston Flower Bar, Friday, February 13th, offering beautifully arranged bouquets for those who may not have had time to stop by a florist, or who realized the big day snuck up on them while traveling.
Adding to the ambiance, travelers and guests will be treated to the soothing sounds of live music on Friday, February 13, featuring local violinist Christy Bates, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the terminal.
“Charleston International Airport is more than a place to arrive and depart, we want it to be an experience,” said Caroline Connolly, Manager of Public Affairs. “From supporting local artists to creating thoughtful moments for our travelers, initiatives like this help us continue to elevate the passenger experience and reflect the welcoming spirit of the Lowcountry.”
Together, these Valentine’s Day touches underscore CHS’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the journey and making travel a little more joyful, no matter the destination.
