“We are so grateful for the support from the Summerville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.”, said Bambi Rushton, Loving Hearts Program Coordinator.

This public service activity was in memory of Freda Simmons Martino to honor her courageous fight against Alzheimer’s Disease. Martino was initiated into the Summerville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated in April of 1996. “Freda was a member of The ARK of St. George during her illness and the program provided a needed break for her husband Ralph Martino”, said Peg Lahmeyer Executive Director of The ARK.
