Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation makes a donation in honor of Hunger Action Month

Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation announced a donation to Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB). This gift of $53,000 will be used where the LCFB needs it most to support feeding programs, equipment purchases, special projects, agency expansions, and other ways as needed to support continued growth of Lowcountry Food Bank.

“Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation is delighted to commemorate Hunger Action Month 2025 with our fourth annual and largest donation to Lowcountry Food Bank,” said Bob Kahle, Board Chair of Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation. “Our investment in the work of Lowcountry Food Bank will help ensure the organization has the resources they need to help neighbors who experience food insecurity in the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina. This donation would not be possible without our supporters — who are investing in the future!”
Lowcountry Food Bank Foundation’s mission is to provide a consistent and sustainable source of funding to support Lowcountry Food Bank.
