LushAcres Fall Festival Wrap-Up: A Bumper Harvest of Fun and Community Support

LushAcres Farm’s Third Annual Fall Festival and corn maze was a spectacular success, drawing over 2,000 visitors who reveled in the farm’s charms. The event featured 1,625 delicious donuts, 7,598 pounds of pumpkins, and the thrilling spectacle of over 4,000 corn cobs being fired from the farm’s cannons.
The festivities didn’t stop there. LushAcres also hosted close to 600 students during the week through their educational field trip program, connecting young minds with the wonders of farming and agriculture.
Amidst the buzz of the Fall Festival, LushAcres continued its commitment to agriculture and community support. The farm’s fields are currently brimming with collards and sweet potatoes, ready to be harvested. And, in preparation for next spring, LushAcres has planted over 15,000 strawberry plants, promising fresh, locally grown delights in the future.
The farm extends its gratitude to supporters. Every purchase made at their festivals or market directly supports the programs of Thornwell, an organization dedicated to providing love, care, and hope to children and families in need.
