Meet the artist, shop the storewide sale and enjoy refreshments

COLUMBIA, SC – April 14, 2014 – MACK Home, Columbia’s exclusive full-scale interior design firm and home décor boutique, is hosting a Spring Open House featuring works by artists Kitty Williams, Rebecca Cabassa and more, plus a 20% off storewide sale and door prizes on Tues., April 22, 4:30 – 9:00 p.m. at their store in Trenholm Plaza. 

The Spring Open House is an opportunity for customers to shop MACK Home’s entire collection, including fresh spring picks, at a 20% discount, and to enter for several door prizes featuring some of MACK Home’s favorite products from their selection of home décor, casegoods, accessories, kitchenware, jewelry and more – all while enjoying complimentary wine and cheese and MACK Home’s signature hibiscus tea cocktail.

Guests will have the rare opportunity to meet one of MACK Home’s favorite artists, Kitty Williams, who will be on deck to discuss her unique view on the world of art and her latest work, available for purchase in-store as well as by commission. Rebecca Cabassa’s new artwork will also be featured during the Spring Open House – and if guests can’t wait until Tuesday, all featured artists’ works will be available for preview in-store Mon., April 21.

Co-owners and designers of MACK Home, Anna Kemper and Marnie Clayton, are thrilled to introduce two of their favorite in-store artists’ latest work to the public. “These artists are incredible,” says Kemper. “It’s going to be an exciting, fun night out,” adds Clayton.

Talented N.C.-based artist Kitty Williams (who has also been a costume designer and university professor) uses MACK Home as her exclusive vendor in Columbia. A piece from her collection can be seen in MACK Home’s showroom of the Columbia Metropolitan Magazine 2014 Dream Home, open to the public April 25-May 11, 2014 at 38 Lake View Circle, Columbia, S.C., and featured in the April 2014 issue of the magazine.

Williams, who is represented by Lucky Fish Gallery, international art buying, curating and management team, also collaborates with LEE Industries, a N.C. eco-furniture company and MACK Home in-store brand, showing her art solely in their showroom in the International Home Furnishings Market at internationally-renowned designer trade show High Point Market in High Point, N.C. Additionally, Williams’ Lucky Fish Gallery representatives will attend the Spring Open House to meet guests and present works by their additional clientele. 

Florida-based artist Rebecca Cabassa’s latest colorful, spring-inspired paintings will also be featured and available for purchase in-store. Cabassa’s work has become well known and highly regarded throughout the Southeast.
