Main entrance at Owens Field Park closed for construction

The main entrance at Owens Field Park is closed to traffic today, January 26, for construction of a new vehicular roundabout, the City of Columbia Parks & Recreation Department announced.
Visitors will have limited access to the park during the vehicular roundabout project, which is expected to be completed by mid-February. Guests must use the South Ott Road gate to enter the park located at 1351 Jim Hamilton Blvd.
The construction is part of the Owens Field Master Plan which includes building a Miracle League Baseball field and boundless playground, renovations of ball fields, walkways and stormwater improvements.
