March Health Programs: Give Blood, Save Lives, and Stay Healthy at Your Library!
March 3, 2024This March, the community has a chance to make a positive impact on both their own health and the well-being of others.
The Clinton Public Library (107 Jacobs Highway) is hosting The Blood Connection on March 6, from 10 am to 2 pm. Donors not only have the opportunity to contribute to a life-saving cause but also receive $50 in rewards, redeemable for gift cards. Appointments can be made at the Clinton Library or through thebloodconnection.org, with walk-ins also welcomed. Your contribution can truly make a difference—be a Lifesaver!
Additionally, Prisma Health’s Mobile Mammogram Unit will be available at the Laurens Library (1017 W. Main Street) on March 28, from 10 am to 2:45 pm. This service is a valuable opportunity for those whose insurance qualifies for mammograms. It’s important to note that United Healthcare cannot be scheduled with Prisma. To ensure your spot, pre-register at either library branch before March 8. Staying proactive about your health has never been easier—schedule your check-up and stay in the pink.
Take advantage of these health programs this month at the library and play an active role in promoting both personal well-being and community health. Your participation can make a significant impact, so mark your calendars for these essential events.
