Marchant Real Estate celebrates 30 years in business

Marchant Real Estate is celebrating three decades in business and came together on Thursday, October 19, for a special evening of commemoration. Since its founding in 1993, Marchant Company has been a beacon of integrity and excellence in the Greenville real estate market.
Seabrook Marchant founded the company after working for another real estate company for 25 years. At the time, he saw an underserved need for new home sales and opportunity for a non-franchised, locally owned real estate business.
For these past three decades, Marchant has stayed true to its core goals of maintaining ethics, integrity, and keeping the feeling of a family business. The firm is owned by Seabrook and his wife, Anne, and their children, Brian Marchant and Laura Marchant Williams, serve as the leadership team.
In addition to working with buyers and sellers, developers, and communities, Marchant Real Estate focuses on serving veterans and honoring more than 600 men and women in law enforcement each year through the LEAD Upstate event, which takes place every September.
In his remarks to those in attendance, Seabrook said, “I am so proud of the work we have done in this community–and to our agents leading the way. We have always been known for our impeccable reputation and I believe that it is in doing the right thing that Marchant will live on long past my time at the helm. We will thrive because we will remain true to who we are.”
The celebrations on October 19 were sponsored by First National Bank and Holliday Ingram, two key partners of Marchant Real Estate. In attendance were Marchant’s real estate agents, staff, civic leaders in local government, clients, and colleagues.
