Mark Williams appointed as Chair of the prestigious Site Selectors Guild

COLUMBIA, SC  – Mark Williams, President of Strategic Development Group, has been elected Chair of the Site Selectors Guild at the organization’s annual meeting in Tucson, Arizona.

The Site Selectors Guild, Inc. is the world’s largest association of business location experts whose members’ site selection projects represent tens of $billions in annual capital expenditures and thousands of new jobs globally each year.

All members of the Site Selectors Guild have been nominated and approved by their industry peers. As the first and only group of its kind, the Site Selectors Guild brings together a dynamic network of site selectors from around the world, combining their talent and expertise to create an invaluable resource, unmatched in its quality, for both corporations seeking site selection assistance and economic development organizations.

Strategic Development Group, Inc. Williams founded SDG in 1999 after serving as Chief Development Officer of the South Carolina Department of Commerce. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with multiple degrees, as well as the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.
