Marketplace Staffing’s Mitchell Named to Best and Brightest 2011

GREENVILLE, SC – October 6, 2011 – Upstate sales executive Jason Mitchell, the Director of Sales for Marketplace Staffing Services, has been named to the 2011 class of Greenville First’s Best and Brightest 35 and Under, and was recently honored at an awards ceremony at the Greenville Little Theater.
Best and Brightest 35 and Under, a program of Greenville Business Magazine and currently in its 18th year, was created to honor young leaders in the Greenville community for professional and civic contributions. Thirty five honorees were selected based upon professional achievement, community contribution and educational background.
As sales director for one of the Upstate’s largest and fastest-growing staffing and human capital solutions firms, Mitchell offers a tireless work ethic, deep strategic insight and strong communications skills to Marketplace Staffing clients seeking the best available talent to grow their business, noted Ray Lattimore, president and CEO of Marketplace Staffing.
A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Mitchell is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communications. Jason is involved with numerous civic organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, The Salvation Army, and the March of Dimes. He is active with three Upstate chambers of commerce, the Greenville Area Development Corporation, Upstate Better Business Bureau, American Staffing Association, and Society of Human Resource Managers. He also serves as a tutor for the Greenville Literacy Association in his spare time.
As part of his Marketplace responsibilities, Mitchell works with new and existing clients across the Carolinas to provide staffing and human capital solutions that lead to increased growth and success for those clients. He largely focuses his time on businesses and organizations in South Carolina’s Upstate and Midlands, as well as in Western North Carolina.
