Marty Martinez named Executive Director of the Big Red Barn Retreat in Blythewood

The Big Red Barn Retreat (BRBR) announced the appointment of Marty Martinez as its new Executive Director. A distinguished 28-year United States Army combat veteran, Marty brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. As the CEO of Joint Task Force-214, a marketing company dedicated to assisting veterans and first responder-owned businesses, and the host of the widely acclaimed “Lounge With Legends Show,” which supports Veterans and First Responders in transitioning from battlefield to business, Marty is uniquely positioned to lead BRBR into its next chapter.

Marty, an active-duty military spouse, currently resides in Columbia, SC, with his wife, two children, and their cherished fur baby. In this new capacity, he will report directly to the Board of Directors and assume responsibility for spearheading the development, execution, and assessment of programs and services that align with BRBR’s mission. His leadership will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s initiatives and activities, focusing on enhancing support for veterans and first responders.

In his new capacity, Marty will provide strategic management and leadership across all BRBR projects, overseeing the organization’s dedicated staff and volunteers. His role will extend to offering guidance for contracted personnel, programs, services, and training, in alignment with BRBR’s objectives.
