Mary Black Health System-Spartanburg employees paint pink pumpkins for breast cancer awareness
October 25, 2018Mary Black Health System-Spartanburg(MBHS-S) is holding its annual pink pumpkin contest in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Different departments decorated pumpkins with messages reminding women to get their mammograms. The pumpkins are displayed in the main lobby of the hospital. The public is invited to stop by, view the pumpkins and vote for their favorite by Monday, October 29th.
Mary Black Women’s Breast Center, where mammograms and bone density screenings are available, is located at 1650 Skylyn Drive in Spartanburg on the first floor of the Hugh R. Black building on the hospital campus. Walk-ins are welcome year-round Monday through Friday, 8am-3pm*.
*Appointments are on a first-come, first-served basis. An order from a physician or qualified healthcare provider is not required, but the patient must provide a physician/provider name when an appointment is made. If the patient does not have a physician/provider, a list will be provided for selection.
