Mary Lane Sloan named Woman of the Year; raises more than $74,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

May 30, 2018

The ART of Real Estate announced its founding partner, Mary Lane Sloan, has been named the Woman of the Year by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Midlands chapter.

Mary Lane and The ART of Finding a Cure team raised $74,7111 over a 10-week fundraising campaign to help find a cure for blood cancers. The campaign touched home for Mary Lane as her husband and high school sweetheart, David Sloan, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma when he was 16. In remission for more than 20 years, Mary Lane and David are now the proud parents of daughters Emmaline (age 9) and Anna (age 2).

“Being a part of this campaign has touched me in so many ways. From getting to know the Boy and Girl of the Year and their families to being humbled by the generous support of family and friends, this has been an experience of a lifetime,” said Mary Lane Sloan, Partner of The ART of Real Estate.
