Mayor Benjamin calls for Confederate Flag removal

COLUMBIA, SC – Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin sent the attached letter to South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley today calling on her and the South Carolina State Legislature to retire the Battle Flag of the Confederate States of America once and for all and remove it from the Statehouse grounds.
