McKay Firm’s Brandon Jones Selected for Leadership Columbia Class of 2014- 2015

COLUMBIA, SC –  The Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce has selected Brandon Jones, an attorney with McKay, Cauthen, Settana, & Stubley, P.A., as a member of Leadership Columbia, Class of 2014-2015.  The selection criteria for Leadership Columbia included civic involvement, leadership potential, diversity of perspective and commitment to the leadership program and the community. For more than 40 years, Leadership Columbia has helped participants better understand the various facets of their community, while building relationships with the region’s current and future leaders.

A Clemson University and University of South Carolina School of Law graduate, Mr. Jones’ practice focuses primarily on civil litigation defense, including transportation law, government liability and general insurance law.  He serves as a Vice Chair of the Government Law Committee of the American Bar Association’s TIPS Section, volunteers for the Special Olympics through the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar, and is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Richland County Bar Association and the Columbia Clemson Club, among other organizations.

They will engage in a 10-month curriculum including monthly class day sessions, a class retreat, a class project and other enrichment activities. Since its inception in 1973, Leadership Columbia has celebrated more than 1,700 graduates.
