McMillan Joins SC Humanities Board of Directors

Lander University Professor of Political Science Dr. Lucas McMillan has been named to the Board of Directors of South Carolina Humanities.

As dean of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Lander, McMillan has worked to enhance partnerships between Lander and the surrounding community, such as that between Lander and the Benjamin E. Mays Historic Site in Greenwood. He has also been instrumental in bringing numerous educational programs of community interest to campus, some of which have been supported by grants from S.C. Humanities. A native of Mullins, McMillan, his wife and sons live in Greenwood.
