McMillan Pazdan Smith announces new Principal leadership
April 24, 2024McMillan Pazdan Smith (MPS) announces four new Principals to the firm: Brian Cook, AIA, NCARB; Josh Czerniak, AIA, LEED AP; Minta Ferguson, AIA, and Mark Gettig, CPA.
MPS recognizes these four leaders for their impactful work and the examples they set as mentors, innovators, and collaborators.
Brian Cook, AIA, NCARB, is the Asheville, North Carolina Studio Director. He is an active member of ULI where he sits on the Innovation in Housing Council, with experience in adaptive reuse of office and retail projects, along with multi-family and mixed use. One of Brian’s specialties is unique solutions to affordable multifamily living options.
Josh L. Czerniak, AIA, LEED AP, has more than 20 years of experience leading clients through complex educational and civic projects. Josh has responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the K-12 Practice Area while continuing to help oversee the firm’s growth in North Carolina.
Minta Ferguson, AIA, NCARB, ACHA, LEED AP, is the leader of the Advisory Services group at MPS. Minta leads efforts to help civic, healthcare, and education clients optimize facility assets for strategic development and operational efficiencies. She has extensive experience providing comprehensive strategic facility master planning, data driven programming, and facility assessments nationally. Minta also hosts a popular podcast, Ideas Shaping Healthcare. Her work has been published in SCUP’s Planning for Higher Education and Healthcare Transformers.
Mark Gettig, as Chief Operating Officer, is a licensed CPA who received his MBA in finance and accounting from Boston University. Mark’s experience includes finance, operations, and general management for multiple global companies. Leadership includes financial management, team development, and support services optimization firmwide.
