McNair Appoints New Shareholders and Special Counsel to the Firm

HILTON HEAD, SC – August 10, 2011 – McNair Law Firm is pleased toannounce that two attorneys have been elected to Shareholder and twohave been appointed to Special Counsel to the Firm in its Columbia,Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach offices.

Special Counsel:

KellyJolly (Hilton Head) focuses her practice on health care law and healthcare litigation. In her practice, she represents hospitals, nursinghomes, physicians and other health care providers in compliance,reimbursement, licensing, administrative, qui tam and common lawmatters. Kelly also practices in the areas of business litigation andalternative dispute resolution.  Kelly received her J.D., cum laude,from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2004 and herB.A., cum laude, from the University of South Carolina in 1998.

title=AllisonMurphy (Myrtle Beach) focuses her practice in real estate law.  Sherepresents developers, lenders, and homeowners associations throughoutthe Grand Strand. Her practice includes involvement in the initialacquisition of property by developers, which includes a review of statusof title and insuring marketability, the subsequent preparation andrecordation of restrictive covenants for each subdivision, and finallythe “retail” lot and/or house sales from the developer to the buyers.  Allison received her J.D., with honors from Samford UniversityCumberland School of Law in 2001 and her B.A. from the College ofCharleston in 1996.

She has been involved in certificate of needproceedings, state and federal self-referral and fraud and abusecounseling, medical staff issues, professional and facility licensures,HIPAA privacy law counseling, reimbursement issues, and stateprocurement matters. Ariail received her J.D. from the University ofSouth Carolina in 2003 and her B.S., cum laude from Clemson Universityin 2000.

She primarily represents area banking institutions,developers, homeowners’ associations, realtors, and businesses inlitigation matters.  Amanda received her J.D., cum laude, from theUniversity of South Carolina School of Law in 2003 and her B.S., fromAppalachian State University in 1998.
