MEDcare Urgent Care Names JoLynn Aponte As Compliance Officer

COLUMBIA, SC – MEDcare Urgent Care, a physician-directed and privately-owned healthcare provider in South Carolina, has named JoLynn Aponte, RN to the position of Compliance Officer. Mrs. Aponte, Vice President of Talent, Training and Recruiting for MEDcare Urgent Care, will immediately move into this compliance role.
A graduate of The Catholic University of America, Mrs. Aponte has held several director-level positions, including a previous role with Inova Health System. Her experience includes Human Resources Management, Talent Management, Facilities/Building Management, Regulatory Compliance, Emergency Management and Infection Control. “MEDcare Urgent Care is certainly on the forward edge of changing the way healthcare is delivered,” said Mrs. Aponte. She added, “I am excited Dr. Hallaba and Dr. Pawlik have provided the opportunity to lead MEDcare Urgent Care’s compliance team, and expect our continued effort to advance the healthcare experience will improve the lives of all people across South Carolina.”
