Medical Practices of the Revolutionary War Talk at the Laurens County Museum

On Tuesday, April 16, at 7:00 PM, the Laurens County Museum will host historian James Hoppers who will discuss “Medical Practices of the  Revolutionary War”.  The museum is located at 116 South Public Square, Laurens, SC.  The public is invited.  Museum members and those 18 years old and under are free. There is a $5 suggested donation for those not members of the Laurens County Museum
 From Abbeville, Mr. Hoppers is a living history presenter and medical librarian. Colonial period medical tools and books will be on display.  Medicine and herbal substitutes, hospital systems and medical services, and other health issues of the Revolutionary War will be discussed.
