MG&C's David Bornemann Accepted to SC Bar Young Lawyers Leadership Academy

COLUMBIA, SC – February 25, 2010 – The law firm of McAngus Goudelock & Courie is pleased to announce that attorney David Bornemann has been accepted into the South Carolina Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Leadership Academy Class of 2010.

The Young Lawyers Leadership Academy is a highly selective program designed to equip young lawyers with networking opportunities, professionalism training, community awareness and other skills necessary to give back to the profession, enhance their professional growth and position themselves as leaders in the community.

Mr. Bornemann practices workers’ compensation defense in MG&C’s Columbia office. He received his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as president of the Student Bar Association, was a member of the John Belton O’Neal Inn of Court and founded the Law School Advocates, a student organization designed to represent the school in various capacities. David also holds his bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, Richland County Bar Association and South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association.
