Middle Tyger YMCA Hires Robert “Nat” Auten as Branch Executive Director
March 3, 2015DUNCAN, SC – The Middle Tyger YMCA, home of the Y-Spartaquatics Swim Team – ranked the #1 Y swim team in the nation, announced the hiring of Robert “Nat” Auten as Branch Executive Director. In his new role, Auten will be responsible for the continued growth of programs and services the Y offers the Middle Tyger area communities.
Auten has been with the Y for 14 years, first as a summer camp counselor, and later as a youth sports director. Most recently Auten served as Branch Executive Director at the Adrian L. Shuford, Jr. YMCA in Hickory, NC. A North Carolina native, Nat grew up in Shelby, NC and earned his degree from NC State University.
