Mike Cashman named a 2016 South Carolina Leadership in Law Award Winner

GREENVILLE, SC – Womble Carlyle attorney Mike Cashman is a winner of the 2016 South Carolina Leadership in Law Awards. The awards, presented by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly, “recognize legal professionals from across the Palmetto State who have achieved success in their law practice, made contributions to society and have had an impact on the legal industry.”
Cashman and other honorees will be recognized at the eighth annual Leadership in Law Awards event, which takes place March 10th in Charleston.
Mike Cashman is an experienced business litigator who works in Womble Carlyle’s Greenville office. He represents business clients in consumer finance and financial services, class actions, and intellectual property/trade secrets. Cashman serves as a member of the South Carolina Bar’s House of Delegates for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, and was recently elected to a three-year term as one of six General Council members of the South Carolina Consumer Law Section.
He also is active in a number of civic and charitable organizations in the Upstate, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Greenville Arena District and as Chair of the South Carolina Advisory Board of the Jefferson Awards Foundation.
