Miller-Valentine Group Announces Opening of New Iron Mountain Facility

GREER, SC – May 20, 2010 – Miller-Valentine has completedupfitting a 45,000 square-foot document storage and imaging facility inGreer, S.C. for longstanding client Iron Mountain, the informationmanagement company. Just opened in April, the new facility will holdhardcopy files for state and Georgia organizations and featuresclimate-controlled storage for more important documents as well as animaging room for creating electronic copies of paper records. .

Located off of Interstate 85, just south of Greer, the document storageand scanning facility is the newest of nine such facilities that IronMountain operates across the state. The Greer facility, which startedfilling with records last month, will house records from organizationslocated primarily in the Northwest portion of the state as well asNortheast Georgia.
The building’s document-scanning room is becoming a more common featurein Iron Mountain facilities across the world as customers want quickeraccess to paper documents and not just secure storage. Since 2002, IronMountain has opened more than 200 of these scanning operations, whichcollectively image more than 50 million pages a month.
