Miss South Carolina USA 2018 and Miss South Carolina Teen USA 2018 crowned in North Charleston
November 27, 2017RPM Productions, Inc. announced our new 2018 Miss South Carolina USA and Teen USA titleholders. Tori Sizemore was crowned Miss South Carolina USA and Kirby Self was crowned Miss South Carolina Teen USA on November 18 at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Tori Sizemore is a native to the upstate of South Carolina, and is a graduate of Anderson University where she studied Public Relations and Marketing. She is an advocate for Foster Care and Adoption, a passion inspired by her own family’s adoption of three little girls. Tori’s work as an adoption advocate resulted in a nomination where she was recognized as a South Carolina “Angel in Adoption” by the Congressional Coalition of Adoption Institute.
“I am eager to resume my advocacy of the children of South Carolina as a speaker and resource to raise awareness and encourage families to help children find a forever home,” said Tori.
Tori will represent South Carolina in the nationally televised production of Miss USA®. Tori previously served as Miss South Carolina Teen USA, placing first runner-up at the national Miss Teen USA® competition in 2013.
Kirby Self is a freshman at Clemson University, majoring in Political Science with a double minor in Communications and Non-Profit Leadership. She is currently on the Clemson water ski team and also participates in women’s chorus. Kirby was born and raised in Greenwood, South Carolina and is a state champion in the 400 meter hurdle and two-time state champion in the triple jump.
Kirby is passionate about promoting youth leadership and has twice received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, the Better Business Bureau’s Student of Integrity Award and the Young Entrepreneurs Award.
“During my reign, I hope to make South Carolina proud by creating positive change through inspiring creative minds and compassionate hearts,” said Kirby.
Kirby will represent South Carolina in the Miss Teen USA® competition.
