Mission Lexington announces promotion of Jamie Campbell to Chief Operating Officer

Mission Lexington announced the promotion of Jamie Campbell to the role of Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.

Campbell brings nearly five years of dedicated service to Mission Lexington, having grown with the organization from volunteering to senior leadership. Her deep understanding of Mission Lexington’s operations, culture, and community impact positions her well to support the organization’s continued growth and strategic priorities.

Campbell began her journey with Mission Lexington as a volunteer, assisting in the Mission Store and quickly expanding her involvement as the organization’s needs grew. In 2021, she joined the staff part-time overseeing the flow of donated goods into both the Donation Center and Mission Store. In 2024, she was promoted to Director of Retail Services, where she led teams across retail and donation operations, strengthening efficiency and supporting Mission Lexington’s mission-driven revenue model.

As Chief Operating Officer, Campbell will oversee day-to-day operations, cross-departmental coordination, and organizational infrastructure, ensuring that Mission Lexington continues to serve individuals and families in Lexington County with excellence and compassion.

Married to her husband, Coley, for 25 years, Jamie and her family have called Lexington home since 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hollins University and brings a background in sales, marketing, and extensive volunteer leadership to her role. Her passion for service and operational insight continues to play a vital role in advancing Mission Lexington’s work across the community.
