Housefax Offers More Information Than Previously Available For Buyers, Like Sound Score and Cellphone Service Quality

Potential home buyers who work with Multiple Listing Service of Hilton Head Island (HHIMLS) agents will now receive deeply discounted rates for Housefax, a service much like Carfax, for the use of home buyers to learn more about the properties they are interested in.

HHIMLS partnered with Housefax to calculate the most up to date and accurate property history report so that home buyers can make informed decisions about their prospective home. Housefax includes detailed information on properties including buyer incident reports, building permits, transaction history, floodline information, roofing conditions, sound score and hail exposure, cellphone service quality, information about schools in the area and more.

“HHIMLS gives agents using Housefax the information to help clients make the most informed decision when considering a sale or purchase,” said Colette Stevenson, chief executive officer of HHIMLS. “This tool helps the HHIMLS real estate members maintain value and trust between all parties involved in the real estate transaction.”
Within the HHIMLS there is a direct link to the Housefax home page for agents to access a property history report. Along with the Housefax service that HHIMLS offers, it also has a range of services aimed at making the home buying and selling process as simple and painless as possible.

HHIMLS also aims to stay ahead of the curve with the most innovative technology. The digital marketing tools available to members include a web-based lock box system that includes E-Keys for Smartphones, a “Virtual Tour Creator” where Virtual tours are created automatically from photos agents upload into the system, and touch-free automated social media announcements. The HHIMLS app shows homes for sale in specific locations, may be branded to the agent, allows the consumer to connect directly with the listing agent, and contains public record data as well.

App users can also save home searches, schedule appointments to view selected properties and estimate affordability with a mortgage calculator.

The MLS of Hilton Head Island gives agents the right tools to help make the home buying and selling experience as easy as possible.
