Municipal Association of SC elects new board members for 2018-2019 at Annual Meeting
July 26, 2018Delegates at the Municipal Association of South Carolina’s Annual Meeting elected officers and board members to the Association’s board of directors. Councilmember Octavia Williams-Blake, City of Florence, was elected president. All officers were elected to a one-year term.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to serve all cities and towns in South Carolina,” said Williams-Blake. “Cities and towns are a concentration of talent, people, arts and culture that provide opportunities for tremendous economic growth, technical innovation and a great quality of life. I’m looking forward to helping cities and towns both large and small thrive.”
