Murder Mystery Walk Adds Chills and Thrills to Laurens’ Spooktacular on the Square

Downtown Laurens will take on a mysterious twist this Halloween night as Main Street Laurens hosts a Murder Mystery Walk during the annual Spooktacular on the Square on Thursday, October 31, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Participants will join guided walks around the historic Laurens Square every 30 minutes, uncovering fascinating bits of local history while following a trail of clues to solve the “Murder on Main.” The interactive experience promises a blend of suspense, storytelling, and small-town fun—perfect for those who love a good whodunit.
Tickets for the Murder Mystery Walk are $5 per person and can be purchased the day of the event at the Main Street Laurens tent on the Square.
“This is such a fun way to experience downtown Laurens in a whole new light,” said Brad Abercrombie, Main Street Laurens Director. “The Murder Mystery Walk combines history, creativity, and a little Halloween mischief—it’s the kind of event that makes Laurens special.”
The evening’s festivities also include Boos & Brews, a new addition to this year’s celebration offering local drinks, great music, and a festive atmosphere for adults to enjoy. In addition to the mystery walk and Boos & Brews, Spooktacular on the Square will feature trick-or-treating with downtown merchants and fun activities for all ages including a costume contest for kids and adults along with live music.
