Myrtle Beach Realtor® Drew Streett is 2019 South Carolina REALTORS® president

Drew Streett, Realtor® at Garden City Realty in Garden City Beach, is South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) 2019 president. Streett was inaugurated in a ceremony at the association’s Broker Summit at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in Columbia October 17, 2018. His term begins this week, following the National Association of REALTORS® annual meeting in Boston, MA.

As SCR president, Streett’s goal will be to focus on SCR’s strategic plan, which is rooted in the protection of private property rights and transfer of real property, while leading the association in its role as proponents for homeowners seeking the benefits of the American Dream.

Drew Streett is a graduate of the Citadel and has been with Garden City Realty for 17 years. Throughout that time he has held many state and local Realtor® association leadership positions. Some of his roles at the Coastal Carolina Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) include: 2009 president, 2010 Realtor® of the Year and past chairman of the Legislative Committee.

Some of his Realtor® service at SCR includes:  2011-2012 regional vice president, parliamentarian of the Executive Committee, and past graduate of SCR’s LeadershipSCR program.

Streett is a past recipient of the REALTOR® Image Award and the  Guy Kates Rotarian of the Year award. He was recognized at Garden City Realty for several listing and selling awards. He also holds the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation.

Streett also is active in his community and serves as the vice chair of the Garden City Beach Community Association and is active at his church, Belin United Methodist in Murrells Inlet. He is the proud husband of Brandy, and his two children, Harrington and Coker.
