NAI Earle Furman Works with Economic Development Partners to Welcome Plastic Products Company & E&I Engineering to Upstate South Carolina
May 27, 2014GREENVILLE, SC – NAI Earle Furman, a leading full-service commercial real estate firm based headquartered in Greenville, has worked with economic development groups including the South Carolina Department of Commerce, Anderson County Economic Development Corporation and Oconee Economic Alliance to bring new businesses to South Carolina.
NAI Earle Furman broker and principal Hunter Garrett, SIOR, CCIM and John Staunton, also of NAI Earle Furman, represented the landlord in leasing a 48,480 square foot warehouse and distribution facility at 199 Keowee Business Parkway in Seneca to Plastic Products Company Inc. (PPC). According to a press release from the South Carolina Department of Commerce, PPC’s $3.2 million investment is expected to create 68 new jobs.
Additionally, NAI Earle Furman broker Towers Rice represented the seller in selling a 45,411 square foot industrial manufacturing facility at 400 Supreme Industrial Drive to E&I Engineering, Ltd (E&I). According to a press release from the South Carolina Department of Commerce, E&I plans to invest $17 million to establish its first U.S. operations in Anderson County, and the investment is expected to create 250 jobs over the next five years.
