Neighborhood Housing Corporation announcing new staff

The Neighborhood Housing Corporation of Greenville, Inc. (NHC) announced Sheila Dogan has joined their team as an Office Administrator.  Ms. Dogan comes with over 20 years’ experience in Community Development, Grassroot Organizing, Business Administration and Political Engagement.

Prior to joining Neighborhood Housing, Sheila spent six years working with labor and fighting for the rights of workers in Memphis, Tennessee.  Sheila has worked in social justice and is passionate about empowering others to think outside the box and taking ownership of their situation. Sheila stated, “My job satisfaction is based on what I can do to help the human condition. I am extremely excited about my new role as Administrator for Neighborhood Housing, and doing my part in helping alleviate the disparity that currently exists in affordable housing.”

Created in 1989 by the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority (GCRA), Neighborhood Housing is the oldest affordable housing non-profit organization in Greenville County.  Since then, Neighborhood Housing has led the effort to place families and individuals in housing they could afford through homeownership and rental homes.
