netGALAXY Studios launches mobile app for Charleston Restaurant Week

January 15, 2013

CHARLESTON, SC – January 15, 2013 – netGALAXY Studios, a mobile and web application development company headquartered in Charleston, SC launched an Apple and Google Play (Android) mobile app for the Charleston Restaurant Association. With the kickoff of Restaurant Week, the app comes at the right time to allow users to view every restaurant, the menus the restaurant is offering during restaurant week, and a GPS map with turn-by-turn directions to each location.

The app has many more features including a Parking Assistant that will allow anyone using the app to mark where they parked their car and get direction back to it. “This is a great feature, not only for restaurant week, but any time and any place you need to know where you parked.” says Mr. Collett. He continues to say “You can even set a timer with the Parking Assistant so if you are parked at a meter, it will remind you when you need to move your vehicle or put more money in the meter”.

Using an easy-to-use mobile app builder, the Charleston Restaurant Association can add and update information in real-time without the need to resubmit to the app stores for approval. The app building system has over 45 features that can be added or removed from the app at any time. And with push notifications, informing the app user is as easy and typing the message and pressing a send button.

The Charleston Restaurant Association mobile app can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes or Google Play app market simply by searching CRA in the app store. And, if you are a Blackberry or Windows users, we have a mobile-friendly version of the app for you; simply visit www.charlestonrestaurantassociation.com from your mobile web browser to be redirected to the mobile-friendly version.
