A new workforce housing community is officially opening in Columbia, marking an important step in expanding access to affordable, high-quality living options in the Midlands.
City leaders, including Mayor Daniel Rickenmann and Councilman Peter Brown, joined representatives from the City of Columbia Economic Development Department and Connelly Development on Tuesday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of Addison Pointe Apartments.
Located at 808 Percival Road, just minutes from the Forest Acres area, Addison Pointe is an 80-unit apartment community designed to serve Columbia’s workforce with attainable rental options in a convenient location.
The development was created in response to increasing demand for housing that is both affordable and well-designed, offering residents modern living spaces without sacrificing quality or accessibility.
“As Columbia continues to grow, so does the need for high-quality housing options that remain within reach for the people who power our local economy,” said Kevin Connelly, president of Connelly Development. “Addison Pointe is a great representation of our commitment to delivering safe, modern, and affordable homes in a convenient and connected location.”
