New Establishments to Open Their Doors at the Shoppes at Seaside Farms

CHARLESTON, SC – July 2008 – The Beach Company is pleased to announce the arrival of Bikram Yoga Charleston, Once Upon a Ballet and Sugar Mamas Bakery to The Shoppes at Seaside Farms. They will all serve as great additions to the diverse blend of tenants in the mixed-use development. Leonard Way, Vice President and Asset Manager of The Beach Company said, “We are excited to have these tenants at the Shoppes at Seaside Farms to round out our mix of service and convenience oriented tenants.”
Bikram Yoga Charleston is the area’s first Bikram certified Yoga Studio. This type of yoga is based on a series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises performed in a room heated to over 100 degrees, designed to heal and improve your body, mind and soul from the inside out. The classes will be held seven days a week, and the studio will open Fall 2008.
Once Upon a Ballet will offer Ballet, Musical Theater and Tap classes for ages two and older. Owner and Founding Director, Allyson Lewis said, “This is a very exciting time for our school. Students who began with us five years ago as our ‘littles,’ are growing up and tell us they want to stay! So we have built a place for them to grow in their dance education as well as expanded our programs to meet this need.” The studio plans to open August 25th.
Sugar Mamas Bakery, Bistro & Gourmet To Go will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and will specialize in desserts and cake decorating. Take and bake options make it a perfect alternative to making dinner for the busy family. This husband and wife team is excited about their new business venture. Co-owner Amy Hogg says, “I love art, and this is a way for us to put food and art together.”
