New Managers Named at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center

Michele Davies, RN, BSN, (pictured right) has been named emergency department (ED) nurse director at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Michele joined the hospital in 2001 as a staff nurse and most recently was assistant ED nurse director. Michele earned her associate degree in nursing from Morrisville Agricultural and Technical College, Morrisville, NY, and her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY.
Pat Allison, MT (ASCP), has been named laboratory director at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center and South Strand Medical Center. Pat joined the hospital in 1999 and previously worked as the laboratory manager and administrative manager. Pat earned her bachelor of science degree in medical terminology from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA.
Liz McKniff, RN, MSN, has been named case management director. Liz joined Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in 1999 as a staff nurse in the intensive care unit and was most recently the nurse director of 1 East. Liz earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA, and her master of science degree in nursing from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN.
Donna Apple, RN, BSN, has been named nurse director of 2 East nursing unit at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Donna joined the hospital in 2004 in medical imaging and has also served as a relief nurse administrative supervisor. Donna earned her associate degree in nursing from St. Elizabeth’s College of Nursing, Utica, NY, and her bachelor of science degree in healthcare management from Pfeiffer University, Charlotte, NC.
