New members join Multiple Listing Service of Hilton Head Island

Multiple Listing Service of Hilton Head Island (HHIMLS) is growing. Six offices and 36 individuals joined the organization since December. The offices are Homesfinder Realty Group and Lubkin Appraisal Service, both of Beaufort, S.C., Premier Properties by Haig Point in Hilton Head Island, S.C., Palmetto Real Estate and Hilton Head Properties, both of Bluffton, S.C., and HomeLight, Inc. of San Francisco, Calif.

HHIMLS facilitates more than $3 billion in real estate transactions annually. Its members have access to a web-based lockbox system that includes E-Keys for Smartphones, a “Virtual Tour Creator” for agents to put up video tours of homes on the MLS site, ShowingTime that makes it easy for agents to schedule showings, and the latest marketing features like a new app that allows a potential buyer to use their camera on their mobile device to obtain properties in their surroundings and display what is for sale, rent, or where there is an open house nearby.

HHIMLS members use the #1 listing platform in the industry, Matrix by CoreLogic®. CoreLogic records include mortgage and asset-backed securities information, property tax data, geospatial parcel data, flood and disaster risk data, and other information. That gives members access to real-time true market value, making transactions as quick and efficient as possible.

HHIMLS was the first multiple listing service in the country to combine its TransactionDesk® platform by the company Instanet, with Listing Data Checker™ from CoreLogic. Listing Data Checker validates the accuracy of a real estate listing and notifies the agent of any needed changes. Transaction Desk includes all the forms needed for a closing. Integrating the platforms means agents only have to enter data once and it will automatically be transferred into other forms for MLS, tax data, and transaction documents. For listing agents, these integrations also improve the workflow for attaching documents to listings.
