New wine distributor opens in Charleston
September 16, 2015CHARLESTON, SC – Palmetto Fine Wines, LLC is now open serving the Greater Charleston region. This wholesale wine distributor will be offering only the best wines in the industry to the best restaurants, hotels, wine shops and private clubs in the region.
“Our direction is two-fold,” says owner Chuck Richards. “Our portfolio represents only the exceptional domestic wines available and secondly, we offer unparalleled service and education to support our brands,” continues Richards.
This unique, in-depth approach comes from the fact that Richards and his team have over 40 years of experience in the wine industry. They have worked not only in wholesale, but also at many levels including retail, hospitality, branding, fundraising and directly with the wineries for special on-location release of new varieties.
“Our focus is going to be in full support of the wines we sell to premier establishments in the low country,” states Richards. “We represent many hard-to-find wineries that produce smaller quantities, offering our customers first access to these stellar wines,” says Richards.
Some of the wineries represented are Robert Foley Vineyards, Stanton Vineyards, Switchback Ridge, Jones Family Vineyards, Chateau Boswell, Phifer Pavitt and Sherwin Vineyards, among others.
Palmetto Fine Wines is planning special events featuring noted winemakers for their customers in the Greater Charleston region, including Charleston, Kiawah Island, Mt. Pleasant, Daniel Island, Bluffton, Summerville and Hilton Head.
