Newmark Grubb Wilson Kibler’s Josh Speed and Alex Irwin Selected for Columbia and Charleston Leadership Program

COLUMBIA, SC  – Newmark Grubb Wilson Kibler announced two of the company’s agents have been selected to join the Columbia and Charleston Leadership Program. Columbia Chamber’s Leadership Columbia Class of 2015 selected Josh Speed and the Leadership Charleston Advisory Board selected Alex Irwin.

The Columbia Leadership Program is for emerging and existing community leaders and is a unique program that is moving Columbia in the right direction. Members will develop skills to have leadership roles and attend an opening retreat as well as eight class day sessions throughout a 10-month period. The program will focus on regional issues, deepening leadership skills and building relationships with others that have the same commitment for their community.

The Leadership Charleston Program is also for emerging and existing community leaders with a passion for Charleston. This program is designed to learn more about issues in Charleston, discover why you need to make a difference, put ideas into action and expand your horizons. This program is also a 10-month program with a two-day retreat followed by on-day sessions each month through June.

Outside of Newmark Grubb Wilson Kibler, Mr. Speed is a chapter member of the Greater Columbia Delta Waterfowl Committee and The Urban Land Institute. Mr. Irwin is a member of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, The Maritime Association of South Carolina, The Propeller Club of Charleston and the Porter Gaud Boys Varsity Basketball Assistant Coach.
