Nexsen Pruet Attorney Recognized with “Leadership in Law” Awards

HILTON HEAD, SC – March 15, 2012 – Nexsen Pruet attorney Melissa Azallion of Hilton Head has been selected as a recipient of a 2012 Leadership in Law award.
South Carolina Lawyers Weekly presents the annual awards to attorneys who “are working to better the legal profession through mentoring and involvement within their community as well as going above and beyond in their everyday job.”
Azallion practices in the areas of employment and labor and immigration. She represents individuals and corporate clients in multiple industries, including higher education, manufacturing, health care, hospitality, government, and technology. She serves on the board of directors for the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, is past chairman of the Lowcountry Workforce Investment Board, and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
The newspaper will recognize 23 attorneys from across the Palmetto on the evening of March 15th in Charleston. Other Nexsen Pruet lawyers were honored with “Leadership in Law” awards in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
